The pandemic upended the lives of countless people in our country. An unprecedented time like this only showed us how we need to prepare ourselves for any health emergency in the future.

Our foundation knows the kind of drastic effect it had on people from all walks of life, especially on the weaker section of society. Thus, in our continuous endeavor to work for covid relief, we recently tied up with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) Delhi. On 26th March 2022, our chief patron Dr. Satya Pal Singh, and our President Trustee Mrs. Alka Singh donated 70 oxygen cylinders to the DM of Baghpat Mr. Raj Kamal Yadav, and CMO Community Health Centre, Dr. Dinesh Kumar.

In our endeavour to make life in rural India, especially Baghpat and Western Uttar Pradesh meaningful, we are constantly striving to create a sense of pride among the residents and people born there.

Baghpat Gaurav Samaroh is one such initiative of the Foundation. A felicitation ceremony hosted for the first time in 2021, the Samaroh honours people from all walks of life for their distinguished contribution to society. People from Baghpat who are doing exceptional work in the fields of Military, Civil Services, IT, Corporate and every other sector are selected by an independent committee who are then honoured and felicitated to inspire others and thank them for their valuable contribution in putting Baghpat strongly on the map of India and Uttar Pradesh. With this initiative, the aim is to inspire the youth of Baghpat to excel in their careers and chosen fields.

Skill Development Centre
Skill Development Centre

With an aim to boost the economy and provide skills to rural youths, the foundation has set up several skill development centers throughout Baghpat district. Tie-ups with reputed PSUs like BPCL and IRCTC has helped us further bolster the centers. The CSR fund of the private companies also helps in creating skill-based centers where qualifying individuals can learn computer, programming and other necessary skills to land a job in a good company.

These centers have provided vocational training necessary to sit for interviews when applying for a job. Skill building helps in rehabilitating children from rural and lower-class families. A plethora of short and long term corporate training programs also take place at the center and help in boosting their confidence.

Divya Institute: Divine Institute of Ved, Yog and Adhyattam

The pandemic, among many things, taught us the value of introspection. Pausing, reflecting and working on our inner self has been one of the biggest learnings of these unprecedented times. With India’s Vedic roots, it has become paramount to bring forth the teachings of yoga, Ayurveda, divinity and naturopathy to ensure a future where all these practices are incorporated in our everyday lives.

With this aim, Satya Foundation is setting up a model institution of Vedic Sciences called DIVYA – Divine Institute of Ved, Yog and Adhyattam in YEIDA. To strengthen these practices, the Institute will focus on vocational training, seminars, and conferences to educate people about its importance. Outline of full-fledged degree and diploma courses is also one of the objectives of the Institute.

Education is the bedrock of humanity. Learning about our roots and culture is necessary for a holistic development and cultural understanding. In our endeavor to foster this belief and help in providing education to children in rural India, we have stated a pilot project in village Basoli, Uttar Pradesh.

Transforming abandoned schools by redeveloping them and implanting necessary material and infrastructure is one of the many ways this pilot project has taken wings. The foundation is also working with two-three schools in different capacities as we aim to instill a culture of value-based vedic education system. Creating equal opportunities and providing easy access to primary education resonates with our ethos. And in lieu of this, we are also providing free education to socially and economically weaker sections of the district of Baghpat.

An endeavor that is bound to benefit the society, the foundation understands how important it is for children to continue going to school. Especially after the pandemic, when the economically weaker section was gravely impacted and children dropping out of schools, it becomes our responsibility to create avenues for these children to continue studying.
